Lone Sorensen Lopez developed Face Reflexology over the course of her 28-year career during
which she researched traditional healing therapies from around the world and combined her findings
with medical knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology.
Lone trained as a reflexologist in 1978 and later in acupuncture and laser therapy. In 1985 Lone moved
to Argentina where she established the first three reflexology schools and trained almost 2,000 Foot
and Face reflexologists over a 12-year period.
Lone is tireless in her quest for knowledge. She has studied in Chile, Cuba, France, Spain and Germany,
attendeing conferences all over the world. Her work has been published in Spanish and Danish and more
recently in English after she presented her first UK workshop in 2003
Lone has a particular interest in children with special needs and has developed a therapy called
Temprana (see www.temprana.co.uk) for children and adults with inherited and acquired injury to the
nervous system.
In March 2001, LONE SORENSEN LÓPEZ was awarded three honorary titles by the O.M.H.S. (a Humanitarian
and Health Organization), becoming the first reflexologist in the world to obtain such recognition for
her work in Zone therapy, foot and hand Reflexology and Facial Reflexology.
LONE SORENSEN LÓPEZ teaches Reflexology in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Holland, England, Japan, Mexico, Argentina and Spain. The Headquarters of her Institute is in Spain.
